Mi Mix 2 review & Full phone specifications

Hey everyone

Recently I was invited to the launch of Mi Mix 2 and I got to experience a lot about the phone launch. I got this device at the event and after using it for few weeks, here is my take on Mi MIix 2 – It totally nailed it!

What makes this phone stands out is it’s all-screen-front and ceramic body, and absolute reflector surface at the back and a gold platted ring around the camera which will definitely add a charm to your personality while you hold this beauty. The Mix 2 has razor-thin bezels on three sides, leading to an immersive display. There’s a chin at the bottom that houses the 5MP front camera and the notification LED. With the display size of 5.99 inch, phone is quite tall, and you’re not going to be able to reach all corners of the display, one handed usage is still possible.

There’s an 18-carat gold ring around the camera sensor, and the “Mix designed by Xiaomi” tagline is still laser-etched onto the back. Xiaomi is once again using a ceramic back, but the mid-frame is made out of aluminum. There’s a single speaker located at the bottom of the phone, and a USB-C charging port next to it. Also, their is no 3.5mm jack port. It runs on the Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.45GHz. There’s 6GB of RAM here and 128GB storage inside. As far as mid-ranged phones go, this is the most storage you can get, eliminating the need for micro-SD expansion.

It’s battery life is incredibly good, which lasted for more than 20 hours on a single charge.
